Game Day Chili

MMM...mmmm...mmm
Warning!  Only make this on the nights you know you're not planning on rubbing with your lovey dovey!!  You will be too full for any other activity other than lying around and rubbing your belly (which sometimes is just as much fun.)
Here's what you'll need:
8 slices thick cut bacon (diced)
3 tablspoons minced garlic
2 medium onions, chopped
2 green bell pepper, chopped
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon Tabasco
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon paprika
2 lbs ground turkey
1 can Tecate beer
2 14.5oz cans red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
1 24 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 24 oz can diced tomatoes
Top with
Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Sour Cream
Limes
Guac
Green Onions
Tortilla chips
Whatever you want

Start by cooking the bacon in a large stock pot or, my preference, a large dutch oven.  Once the bacon is crisp, add the next 8 ingredients (from garlic to paprika).  Season to taste with salt and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally for about 8 minutes until the veggies are soft.  Add your ground turkey and cook until no longer pink.  Add your beer, beans and both cans of tomatoes.  Bring to a boil, turn heat to low, cover and let simmer for about 2 hours.  Can you smell this already?  Serve in large bowl and top with everything you can find!
