A Gift From Santa

My yummy Santa was extra good to me this year.  Not only did I get everything I wanted, I got a little extra!  That's right...it was late Christmas day night, Bear was passed out from all her frenzied gift openings, the family had left just a bit before, our tummies were full from prime rib and yorkshire pudding and Santa and I had just settled down together with a night cap and  he whispered softly into my ear... "Hey you, there's one more present for you in there.."  He gestured with nod to the other room.  And boy did I get just what I wanted!!!
What?  What'd you think I was talking about?
No, no....Santa had brought me exactly what I wanted!!  Well, I had asked Santa for a larger dutch oven.  We have a couple, but I really really wanted a bigger one.  I'm not sure why I wanted such a big pot considering I only have three people to feed: me, Santa, and Bear.  But I have a nasty habit of making enough food for at least 10 people...may have something to do with being raised with 4 siblings.  I literally break out into a cold sweat if I think we don't have enough food to feed anyone who may hypothetically stop by.
Anyway, I walk into the kitchen to see this beautiful 7.0 quart Cuisinart in TURQUOISE!!!  I never told Santa what color I wanted, and somehow, he picked out the most perfect shade I could have ever dreamed of!  Seriously, I have never even seen this color!  Oh it's just so beautiful..I knew immediately it's first meal would have to be something special...Even on a full tummy that night, I started anxiously pondering what exactly would be the perfect dish to break in this present...I just couldn't think of anything more special than Paella!  Look for my post tomorrow...I must say, it was wonderful.  Thank You Santa!!!!!
